Introducing Our Pre-Employability Courses

We have recently launched a new scheme to support individuals into meaningful employment, read below to find out how it works and how it differs from our usual courses.  

What Are Pre-Employability Courses?  

Pre-Employability courses are tailored training programmes that are used to enhance an individual's employability skills. Each course aims to give the learners knowledge and understanding of a specific industry, preparing them for future job roles. On completion of the Pre-Employability course, learners receive a job interview from a company in the same industry.  

How Are They Different From The AIM Groups Other Courses?  

One of the main differences is the time it takes to complete the courses, our Vocational-Related Qualifications can usually be completed in your own time within six weeks. On the other hand, our Pre-Employability courses are more intense and usually last between one and two weeks.  

There are also some differences for those who are eligible to take them. Our VRQ’s are available to anyone aged over 19 years old who has lived in the UK/EU for 3+ years can take. Whereas our Pre-Employability courses are only available to those who are unemployed and claiming some form of benefit (Such as Universal Credit).  

How Could They Help Me?  

If you are struggling to find work, our Pre-Employability courses could be perfect for you. We work alongside established companies to ensure there are job opportunities for those who complete one of our courses. The course content puts you in the best position to land one of these jobs by preparing you for the interview that will take place after you’ve completed the course, and what to expect should you be hired. So far, we’ve worked alongside companies such as Amazon, Sainsbury’s, Hello Fresh and many others!
